영국에서 요즘 가장 많이 쓰는 북키핑으로 퀵북스랑 지로인데, 두가지가 굉장히 비슷하다. 실제로는 퀵북스는 미국에서 더 많이, 지로는 영국에서 더 많이 쓰는 편임.
추세가 어느 인터넷 컴퓨터에서 로그인 정보만 입력하면 워킹할 수 있는 클라우드 베이스에 Dex등 영수증 등을 사진을 찍어서 곧바로 포스팅 할수있는 프로그램이 점점 더 많이 생겼다.
영국도 이전에는 Sap, Sage를 많이 사용했는데, 점점 더 편리성과 자동화에 따라 Xero를 많이 쓰는것같다. 퀵북스, 지로 모두 각각 웹사이트에서 간단한 자격증 등을 딸수있다. 모두 무료이며, AAT, ACCA가 없어도 평균 8시간 정도만 공부하면 자격증을 취득할 수 있다.
세이지는 아직도 영국의 중, 큰 기업에서 많이 사용중이다. 이전부터 썼다면 큰 하자가 없는한 계속 회계 프로그램을 써나가므로, 지로나 퀵북스만큼 유연하지는 않지만, 아직도 많은 회사에서 쓰인다. Zoho Books 도 몇년전부터 점차 쓰는 추세인데, 회계프로그램도 많이 생겨났다가 바꾸고 없어지고 하는 것들이 많아서 오래 쓸수 있는 프로그램을 선택하는 것이 좋을듯.
회계쪽만큼 자동화, 간편, AI도 빨리 들어올 분야도 없을거다. AI이후로 가장 먼저 없어질 직업이 회계쪽 분야이다 보니. 그래서 더 포럼 같은 것도 자주하고, 선진문물?을 앞다투어 배우려는것 같다.
